Trade Compliance Senior Analyst, Europe

Support with all aspects of customs operations across Europe and EMEA, focusing on ensuring compliance of the constant changes in processes driven by business priorities
Coordinate and align with cross-functional teams around the globe including: Sales, Service, Delivery, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Legal, Finance/Accounting/Treasury, Real Estate, Tax, Homologation, Logistics and IT
Communicate with various government authorities to respond to inquiries/audits
Support Tesla’s AEO status and ensure compliance and maintenance of related processes
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to identify supply chain design strategies that may be utilized to minimize operational complexity, potential impact on regulatory aspects and duty spend
Work with internal/external stakeholders to obtain the information required to ensure that accurate country of origin, HS classification and preference are assigned to Tesla’s components
Work with Tesla’s strategic customs partners and government authorities to gather customs data that is essential for reporting purposes and for creating/enhancing the visibility needed to drive critical business decisions

3+ years of experience with International Trade Compliance
Experience in managing an AEO program
HTS classification, Customs Valuation, (Preferential) Origin and Export Control experience
Strong analytical skills to develop data-backed strategy
Ability to work independently and under high pressure, managing tight timelines
Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player
Strong English written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus
