What you`ll do
The Working Student (f/m/d)  Intelligent Search Developer is working in a fast-paced technical environment and actively shaping SAP’s Web Platform (internally and externally). The candidate will contribute to a SCRUM team and work in an agile setup to deliver features for targeted search scenarios to support customers, partners, and SAP employees.

This position can be filled in the location of Walldorf or Berlin

The Role
•    Join an agile delivery team to develop Intelligent Search features, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as GenAI and LLM capabilities
•    Create, configure, and deploy search crawlers to extract data from content sources, harmonize and enrich metadata, and ultimately store it in a search application
•    Implement search front-end features using state-of-the-art technologies
•    Installation, configuration, and seamless operation of a high-quality cloud application, including highly automated pipelines

What you bring
•    Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
•    Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration
•    Development experience across the full stack (frontend, backend, database, machine learning)
•    Proficiency in one or more technologies including but not limited to: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5
•    Understanding of cloud infrastructures and Kubernetes/Docker is a plus
•    Knowledge about search result ranking and how search result relevancy can be enhanced is a plus
•    Demonstrated passion, proactive initiative, and dedication to responsibility and ensuring quality are essential
•    Language: Good communication skills in English and German

The IES Search team, a part of the Intelligent Enterprise Solutions organization within SAP, is on an exciting journey to develop, enhance, and operate the strategic IES Search Service end-to-end. As we drive the adoption of our service, we actively collaborate with various LoBs and teams within SAP. Our solutions are globally utilized by customers, partners, and employees. 
The team consists of motivated individuals from various locations, primarily working out of the EMEA region.
