I am recruiting for a leading Maritime company based in the Netherlands and they are looking for a Workshop Service Engineer with experience in engines, turbochargers and fuel systems.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering technical data, including work procedures, drawings, spare parts, materials, etc.
- Performing maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on (diesel) engines, turbochargers, and fuel systems, or their respective components.
- Repairing, replacing, or overhauling relevant parts using machines and tools.
- Conducting basic (conventional) machining work as required.
- Compiling checklists for both completed and pending work.
Role Requirements:
- Possess an MBO training in commercial vehicle technology, first car mechanic, mobile equipment diploma, or an equivalent qualification.
- Accumulate 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a (car) mechanic.
- Demonstrate knowledge and practical experience in the repair of (diesel) engines, turbochargers, fuel systems, or their components.
- Exhibit the ability to perform effectively under time constraints, coupled with excellent technical skills.
- Display a driven and stress-resistant attitude.
- Showcase a service-oriented, team-player mindset with flexibility.
- Uphold principles of honesty and reliability.
- Maintain proficiency in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Reside in the Rotterdam region with personal transportation.
