Are you working as a Sales Manager within the Maritime industry? Are you looking for a new opportunity and challenge? If so, I might have the perfect position for you!
I am recruiting for a leading Maritime company based in the Netherlands and they are looking for an Area Sales Manager with experience in Turbomachinery.
Responsibilities:


  • Spearhead growth initiatives in the region, overseeing budget estimates, order intake, turnover, and customer visits.

  • Deliver comprehensive customer service for the machine population across specified countries.

  • Employ a methodical approach to acquire new customers, engaging in negotiations for terms and conditions agreements.

  • Foster relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the sales process.

  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients.

  • Serve as the primary contact for PrimeServ technical inquiries related to accidents and repairs.

  • Generate quotations and collaborate with product centers to identify technical and commercial solutions.

  • Independently engage in negotiations with customers, adhering to sales guidelines and regulations.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to travel regularly.

  • Contribute insights for annual sales budgets.

  • Assume responsibility for the commercial outcomes of the Netherlands region, aligning with annual sales budgets.


Role Requirements:


  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree with a robust commercial mindset.

  • Demonstrated 5 to 10 years of sales experience, preferably within the HDRE manufacturing/services industry or mechanical engineering.

  • Open and motivated to engage with diverse individuals.

  • Possesses an entrepreneurial mentality, with a keen focus on ensuring high customer satisfaction.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, including proficiency in contract drafting.

  • Strong networking abilities, well-versed in the local market and within the network.

  • Assertive and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team.

  • Displays quick responsiveness to customer needs.

  • International sales experience is considered a valuable asset.

  • Demonstrates integrity and reliability.

  • Proficient in Dutch and English (required), with a preference for proficiency in German.
