As Automation Test Engineer, you play an important role in providing complex EV charging systems with the best test automation solution. You are the quality gate keeper who ensure that software runs correctly on our electric AC chargers. To ensure safety, all features must be fully correct. You realize that even the smallest software changes affect the functionality of the hardware. Performing tests as soon as all features are bundled in a software version. You check if the feature is correct, meets the functional requirements and look at the points of interest of previous releases.You are the tester who ensure that the tooling we offer to our customers and our own employees is as optimal as possible. So you think whether it's necessary to make any changes after the test on an electric vehicle charger? Then you send it back to the developer with a solid findings. Your colleagues know that your 'seal of approval' is only given when the smallest details are correct.You will be part of the Global Test Team, location Delft. You will also have colleagues based in Eindhoven and in other parts of the world. The Global Test Team brings a diverse set of cultures and skills. Your responsibilities

• Understand System requirements/Epics/user stories, prepare test case, automate test execution, report defects and tracking, prepare test metrics.
• Ability to derive functional and end-to-end test cases which covers user scenarios of the product.
• Automating various software tests like Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Black/White box testing, Acceptance and Performance.
• Investigating and resolving issues encountered during testing, collaborating with other engineers to identify root causes, and proposing solutions or design modifications.
• Verifying and validating developer changes.
• Creating test framework, writing test plans and executing test.
• Details oriented in delivering quality, striving for better results every day, you inspire your international colleagues and during customer contact you convey the message clearly and pleasantly.
• Collaborate with fellow testers in different locations.

Your background

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
• Minimum 3+ years’ work experience with QA tools/processes and Automation within an electrotechnical environment with testing on hardware.
• Strong knowledge in Azure Devops CI/CD pipeline integration and scheduling execution.
• Experience in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
• Experience in developing and executing automation scripts using Robot Framework or Pytest.
• Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAPI, SoapUI) for automated checks.
• Experience in Mobile automation (Appium) and testing web applications.
• Experience in creating test framework, writing test plans and execution.
• Experience in Python would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with working in a Linux/Unix and Git-based environment.
• Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English, Dutch is a plus.
