Job title: Carbon Program Manager

Location: Amsterdam, Hybrid 

Fulltime: 40 hours a week

What will you do as a Carbon Program Manager?

We are looking for a talented and experienced Carbon Program Manager to join our dynamic team at Heineken. In this role, you will drive the transformation of Carbon management in the company by applying deep program management knowledge and enabling delivery functions (Supply Chain, Procurement and Commerce) to accelerate their performance by establishing efficient governance

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

1.Orchestrate the carbon program by providing an overview to the entire company on the progress of the net zero carbon commitments across 3 scopes, Set priorities across functions and regions

2.Federate the various Head Office functions into an aligned approach toward carbon program execution;

3.Harmonize governance model between Regions and OpCos and between functions and programs

4.Prepare Working groups and various SteerCosEnsure working groups input provides strategic elements leading to decision to senior management.

5.Shape the GreenPrint model with Transformation; develop change management capabilities and define the High-Performance Organization model for Scope 3

6.Enable Scope 3 delivery; develop the right capabilities and priorities to deliver Scope 3 with maximum impact and focus. Work closely with Circularity and Nature teams to streamline activities.

7.Identify the cost of actions and, with finance, develop a financing approach to execute at speed. Work closely with the Carbon reporting lead and transformation team to embed into the carbon funnel.

8.Act as a business partner, stress test initiatives, escalate risks of non-delivery and propose remedy solutions, collate best practices.

Experience & profile (what & how):

 

What: 

  • Education: Master degree
  • Work experience: 13+ years.
  • Required work experience in field of expertise: demonstrated experience (10+ years) in managing programs across various businesses, regions and OpCos. Experienced in various type of transformational journey
  • Other fields of expertise: strong business acumen, with understanding of different part of the business, deep knowledge in corporate governance, experience in sustainability is a plus
  • Functional skills: change management, program management skills, Executive communications, data and analytics, strategic counselling
  • Languages: English; proficient command of other languages is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, French, etc.)
