Dit is jouw rol

In our department called "Data Foundation" we develop innovative cloud based solutions to process the unique and huge datasets we collect within PostNL. We create clean and structured data flows, industrialize machine learning models and develop end-to-end automated solutions. All solutions are serverless, with infrastructure as code and deployed through CI/CD. You will work in the Data and Analytics Platform (DAP) department, which is the driving force behind the smart and effective use of Data, Analytics and modelling. To be able to fulfil our ambitions, we are developing a centralized data platform on AWS. Our data platform enables us to offer the best customer experience, in which data and industrialization of predictive modelling are used to optimize customer interactions and operations. The international team you will be working in consists of driven professionals, challenging each other daily on setting up the most robust, scalable, and user-friendly platform.

• This position is on scale 11 with a gross monthly salary between Eur. 4.280,- and Eur. 6.062,-

Dit breng je mee

• Problem solving mentality with strong leadership skills to guide junior team members,manage projects, and provide technical guidance to the organization. Understanding of agile-Scrum methology. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in this:
• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience as a Software- or Data Engineer, working with (AWS) Cloud based solutions; 
• Experience in Python, Spark, API design, Git;
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS or other Cloud services; specifically AWS CDK, Amazon S3, Aws Glue, Amazon Athena, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift;
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, such as AWS RDS, DynamoDB; 
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code, working with (or in) a CI/CD DevOps team;
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices to ensure data is managed and secured in accordance with organization's policies;
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken in English and preferably Dutch;
