The Role:
In this position, you will serve as a tool owner, ensuring the alignment and construction of customer-order-specific transmission electron microscopes in accordance with customer requirements. Your responsibilities will encompass all levels of module integration on the tool level for our transmission electron microscope platform. You will hold the initial responsibility for addressing any issues at the module or system level, collaborating with other partners such as Operations Engineering or R&D. We welcome candidates with prior experience in similar roles as well as recent graduates looking to take their first steps in their careers. This role requires a passion for technical challenges and a preference for working in a cleanroom environment. Please note that it takes 9-12 months to build, align, and test our TEM microscopes before they can be shipped from our factory.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Integrating modules and conducting comprehensive testing of high-end TEM microscopes
Executing tasks based on test protocols
Ensuring on-time delivery of modules and high-end TEM microscopes with the highest quality
Contributing to product and process improvements
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in testing high-end TEM microscopes
Ability to provide input for troubleshooting complex technical problems and recovery plans
Capability to train or mentor other system testers on the job
Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting technical data related to physics, mechanics, and software
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus

This is a full-time position (40 hours), with the option of part-time work (minimum 32 hours availability).
