As a Finance Director you will be joining an ambitious and innovative team, working to expand our client's business in Europe. In this function you will be responsible for the long-term financial strategy and growth of our client.
Location:
- Fully Remote from The Netherlands
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the finance function in Europe, including setting up accounting systems, report designing, and policy formulation.
- Coordinate with the parent company for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and tax planning.
- Develop financial strategies and procedures to support the company's growth.
- Generate and oversee consolidated reports.
- Manage the company's risk profile.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
- Knowledge of Korean is beneficial.
- Preference for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs).
- Comprehensive financial and tax-legal expertise.
- Proven experience in leading a finance team.
- Experience in a start-up environment is a plus, experience in tech/gaming/telecom industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in AO/IC, FP&A, data structures, Business Intelligence.
- Experience with specific financial software, tools, or ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making, together with a hands-on attitude.
- Skill in managing multiple and cross-functional stakeholders.
