Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented
You will support the Mendix organization in all financial related aspects within the Platform and Technology environment. This is your opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced cloud environment.
You will support the SVP of R&D as a business partner in all finance-related topics and analyze operating results, assure compliance with financial processes and budget, and prepare forecasts. You will drive a business plan mindset to determine cost efficiencies and return on investment in a SaaS/PaaS-specific business model with minimum of supervision.
Responsibilities:
Act as a Financial Business Partner for the Mendix organization and support the organization on its journey towards a sustainable SaaS/PaaS-specific business model
Being the dedicated finance business partner for the R&D leader and R&D unit leads (e.g. Core Development, Security, Product Management)
Perform financial analysis on actual cost positions, forecasting and budgeting as well as providing Key Performance Indicator for supporting business decisions
Handle special projects and analysis in the Platform and Technology environment
Maintain and implement company’s financial processes, policies and procedures and identifies opportunities to improve cost positions and processes
Liaison with different stakeholder including CFO community, Department Heads of Development, FP&A and Accounting
Requirements:
Strong knowledge in budgeting, accounting transactions and financial analysis
Preferred experience in software (SaaS) or high growth business
Strong analytical skills to evaluate results and decisions
Open and innovative mindset to tackle new business models and processes
Strong communication and presentation skills in English. German and Dutch language ability would be beneficial
Proficient with SAP and Office, especially Excel
Experience with BI-Tools (SAP/Business Warehouse, POLARIS - beneficial
Power BI experience - Beneficial
Solid knowledge of Hyperion Planning is a plus
