Jr. Financial Controller

• As a Jr. Financial Controller you will ensure the accuracy of local books;
• You will make contribution to improve projects to the financial department by performing ad-hoc tasks;

Client Details

For a dynamic and international organisation located in the area of Leiden, active in the IT sector. We are looking for a Jr. Financial Controller to join the finance team. In this role, you are going to work together with the Financial Controller to assist in providing documentation for the external auditors, and ensure the health of the financial department.

Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports;
• Collaborate with the finance team to analyse financial data, identify trends, and present meaningful insights to support decision-making;
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to provide reliable financial projections;
• Participate in internal audits to ensure compliance with established financial procedures and regulations;
• Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies;
• Support the preparation of financial reports for external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and investors.

Profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Jr. Controller or finance field;
• Good communications skills;
• Good command in English language, both writing and speaking;
• You are a proactive person, result driven and have the ability to work independently and part of a team.

Job Offer

• A yearly salary between €3.500 - €4.000 based on skills and experience;
