In the role of Logistics Engineer, you will work with practical industrial problems and urgent matters of a logistics nature within our own production. You will have the opportunity to work with our practical internal logistics in the factory on a weekly basis as well as to be part of smaller projects with collaboration with our robot production improvement work, e.g. in LEAN. Robotics' production consists only of an assembly process as we do not have any machining, but all components are purchased for our assembly, so the development of internal logistics is a very important part of our production process. Your work will initially focus on existing factories. Within about 2 years, we will move the entire business to our new Robotics Campus of 65,000 m2 with a fully automated warehouse. It will give you and your colleagues a fantastic challenge in developing a flow with an automated high-bay warehouse that delivers through AGV/AMR to robots and operators who perform assembly in a completely new environment that we ourselves are starting to create here and now.

Your responsibilities

• Emergency remediation of daily problems, e.g. production stoppages.
• Development of industrial flows and processes in logistics.
• Work in a variety of project groups, where you work with logistics and prepare for external logistics.
• In the long run, you will be one of those who are involved in creating the optimal flow at our new ABB Robotics Campus. This is where we gather all our robotics expertise within ABB Europe and your contribution will be logistics development.

Your background

• Engineering education, preferably in logistics and process development. Alternatively, equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience from logistics flows, or the right logistics specialization on your degree.
• If you have worked in assembly production, it is an advantage.
• Ability to cooperate, an overall approach and your own drive are your most important personal qualities.
