Product Owner B2B - Frontend

 

Location:                     Amsterdam, with a mix of office and home working
Parttime/fulltime:        40 hours a week

Your role

As the PO B2B frontend you own the end-to-end eB2B frontend customer experience across Etrade, SFDC, and DOT - so any changes, features, or optimizations directly customer facing. This role will prioritize and define CX elements required to be optimize and also deprioritize as needed as we move to the eazle customer experience. In this role it will be very important to align the right priorities with all EB/Regional/OpCo stakeholders. Based on the long-term strategy for eazle customers, we will have to let the platforms grow closer together instead of diverging further. We aim to learn from current platforms to further shape the future, such as data insights and experiment outcomes. You will work closely with the respective order POs as many of the technologies are not split yet between Front End and back end.

The Product Owner is accountable and responsible for defining feature roadmap and making sure this is connected to the epics and outcomes (impact & value). This is done by aligning within the tribe and with other key stakeholders. For both the functional, non-functional and technical sides of the product/capability or solution that falls with the scope of the Product Owner as well as the value measurement, reporting and analytics. The Product Owner defines the outcomes (what) and key success criteria of the features. The Product Owner facilitates the refinement process of the product team and prioritizes the backlog according to team specific and portfolio priorities based on impact & value. The Product Owner remains up to date on both technical and methodological trends and best practices. The Product Owner validates whether the deliveries of the product team meet the set success criteria and KPIs. The Product Owner makes sure to manage budget and capacity according to pre-set run rates.

 

 

Your scope

  • Scope: E2E customer experience across legacy B2B platforms (Etrade, SFDC and DOT)
  • Roadmap plan (existing or planned deployments): AP roadmap as planned for 2024. We will use the first six months to further refine the short, medium and long-term plan based on customer product & tech vision that is being shaped now in Road 2 Rome
  • Product status: Existing scope, transition vision to be shaped for short / medium term.  Requires establishing new ways of across teams E2E as frontend and backend will be split
  • Scope: The objective of this role is to own the end-to-end Front End customer experience across Etrade, SFDC, and DOT - so any changes, features, or optimizations directly customer facing.   • Where you will start: You will start in the user frontend team reporting to the user Tribe Lead. Together with the eazle frontend team we are shaping the vision of eazle customer, you will be part of this exciting transition journey!
  • Skills required: courage challenging the status qua, flexible mindset, up for a challenge, customer centric and data driven decision maker, ability to connect and translate analytical insights to customer facing opportunities, strong communication skills to manage and get buy in of stakeholders in this massive change management deliverable
  • Key stakeholders: order engine team, D&T, eazle frontend team, (product, CXO, D&T), enabler PO’s, value measurement, G&T, OpCo Sales Director + relevant teams

 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for delivering maximal value & alignment with portfolio/corporate strategy, owns the product roadmap, value proposition, product vision and tenets.
  2. Owns the user experience and works in collaboration with the business or end user to establish requirements in the form of User Stories. Defines functional, regional, legal, compliance and other business requirements.
  3. Owns the end-to-end product lifecycle and related value measurement including product/feature KPI definition, evaluation of customer pain points/opportunities as input to the backlog or longer term product vision/roadmap, experimentation of new features/products, tracking & reporting on product feature performance, and ongoing product/feature optimization based on value and business needed

 

  1. Maintains and refines the Product Backlog at feature level with a view to maximize reusability between OPCOs driving backlog, prioritizing based on aligned value best practices/guidelines
  2. Works across stakeholders (product, opco, region, etc) to plan the Sprints including deciding on Sprint content and priority; manage dependencies and (cross) portfolio collaboration, including tradeoffs (time vs effort vs features vs value)
  3. Ensures pre-conditions for an engaging and empowering work environment so the team can work optimally; Communicates expectations to the Product Teams, other Tribes and Business stakeholders
  4. Remains engaged, available and responsive to Product team and business stakeholders throughout the product cycle, including participation in resolving/mitigating/support on issues where needed.
