Established in 1995, our client is a global supplier of software development tools and components operating in the USA, UK, Ireland and Japan. They support over 125,000 customers across 180 countries, with teams assisting customers in 10 languages.

 They are now opening their new branch in the Netherlands and are looking for Sales Support Administrator to join their team in Amsterdam. As a Sales Support Administrator, you will be assisting customers via email, phone, and LiveChat, handling their enquiries and orders in German as well as in English. You will be a founding member of this new team and it is a great opportunity to grow for the long term with a very dynamic company.

Responsibility:
In this position, you will provide world-class service in German as well as in English, focusing on customer service and efficient administration

  • Handling inquiries from international customers via email, phone, and live chat
  • Supporting the Account Managers with customer service and administrative tasks
  • Creating quotes for new software licences and renewals for the sales department
  • Manage customer orders from order entry to order fulfillment ensuring all data is correct, including pricing, licence registration details and deliveries
  • Coordinate efficiently with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quotes and orders
  • Communicate with customers on the status of quotes and orders
  • Collaborating with other departments such as Finance, Account Management and Tech Support for prompt responses
  • Maintaining customer and order databases
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be required


Who we are looking for:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with near-native proficiency both in German and English
  • 2 years + experience in customer service or similar Sales Support, administration roles, preferably in IT but not mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Highly organised, strong attention to detail with a critical eye and excellent multitasker
  • Administrative skills and high sense of urgency when handling issues
  • Customer-oriented mindset, easily adaptable with good communication skills
  • Goal-oriented and able to work efficiently autonomously or in a team environment
  • Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
  • Good with numbers and enjoys working in a commercial environment

 

Work Schedule:
Full-time position (40 hours a week) for the long term. Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 30 minutes lunch break. No shift involved.
