What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP Business AI iXp Intern (full time) – Full Stack Developer Intern
Work Area: Software-Design and Development
Location: Walldorf / Potsdam / Remote
Expected start date: May 6th, 2024
In this role, you’ll:
You will work as a student intern in fast-paced research projects and apply software engineering principles and concepts to help create new and innovative research prototypes. You would be designing and analyzing software architectures and implement software prototypes. This internship gives you the unique opportunity to work with a multifaceted team to build enterprise systems for large scale commercial use. Your work in this internship will directly impact the millions of people currently using SAP solutions. The duration of the internship is 3-6 months full-time.
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- You are currently studying for an information technology degree in: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems
- You have excellent communication skills: oral, written, and in presentations
- You have already gained some experience in professional software development
- You have hands-on software development skills, such as:
- Programming: Java, Python
- Database: SQL-based databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- You speak German fluently
- Background in basic machine learning techniques is a plus

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
