Senior Global Software Test Lead

As Global Software Test Lead, you will be the gatekeeper for best-in-class soft-ware quality and reliability for our EV charging technologies. You will lead testing teams at different locations, where you do effective test planning, coordination and execution. Together with your teams, you strive towards delivering highly sophisticated Software Testing processes while meeting our competitive time-lines. You will be part of an agile and multi-disciplinary team within the bigger Digital Services & Software Platforms Team, based in Delft. You will report to the Global Charger Embedded Firmware Lead. Will you answer the call to be the heart and soul of our daily software innovations?

Your responsibilities

• Develop, document, and communicate test plans, test strategies, and testing schedules based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with software developers, software architects, the test automation team, and other stakeholders to understand the project goals and requirements.
• Monitor test results, identifying and documenting defects and issues. Which you take forward and resolve together with the software development teams.
• Propose and implement process improvements (out of the industry’s best practices) to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness of the testing team.
• Effectively communicate testing progress, results and risks with all stake-holders involved, using detailed documentation and comprehensive test reports.
• Lead a team of Software Testers, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Where you allocate resources based on team member’s strengths and the project needs.

Your background

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience as Software Testing lead, using Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
• Proven track-record in leading teams through digital transformation.
• Experience working in the embedded environment, testing on hardware.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred.
• You have excellent leadership skills, and you are a motivational and inspirational leader.
• You are an agile and flexible professional, who always goes the extra mile in experimenting and finding innovative solutions. You love to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, full of change. Driven to achieve tight goals, and motivated by the mission of the organization you are in-volved with.
• Strong written & verbal communication in English.
