You and your job

You will be working in a challenging and international environment to enable the bank in providing relevant financial services to our clients. Within the Financing tribe you will be working in the Credit & Engagement area where are a number of new initiatives for designing and building new applications to support such themes as Sustainability, Portfolio management, Pricing tool for rural clients and a number of other initiatives. Rabobank uses and will use those application to serve its wholesale and rural clients across the world.
We are looking for an enthusiast tester who would like to support the daily devops activities of one of our teams, which includes working on the new changes and also providing production support. Working according to Agile Scrum you will be participating in Scrum rituals. Your primary tasks will be to understand the application and new requirements so that you can create and execute the proper test scenarios. And together with you we would like to automate the testing activities. Overall you are an active member of the squad. You will work closely with other squads and areas within the tribe. You have general interest in functional requirements, test automation experience which you would like to develop further and have a strongly pro-active and communicative attitude on multiple levels. And as a test engineer you will contribute to quality analysis of the delivered code by running reports, analysing the toot course of problems and bugs.

Scope of the Role

• Creation of test automation work frame for your squad;
• Maintenance of the test scrips;
• Guidance to junior testers; 
• QA analysis of the delivery; 
• Performing function testing and applying test automation;
• Prepare test data and align test data setup with up- and downstream systems;
• Assist with the root cause analysis and follow-up on issues in our system and the platform it runs on; 
• Define and implement an approach for regression testing;
• Assist in preparing and executing performance/load/penetration tests
• Align with our UAT test coordinator and product owners with regards to UAT planning and execution;
• Transparently report the status and results of the tests and being able to advise on the next steps.

Your and your talent

• Completed a bachelor or master degree in Information Technology, Economics or similar and an interest in wholesale banking;
• 3+  years of experience as a Tester;
• Good experience with test automation
• Strong analytical skills and know how to separate main and side issues;
• Knowledge on working using Agile/Scrum-principles;
• Good knowledge of English, both verbally and in writing;
• Able to communicate test related ideas and results clearly, comprehensively and correctly;

Experience in/with:

• structured test methods and processes (ISTQB, TMap)
• context Driven, Exploratory and/or Concurrent Testing
• interface testing (REST/SOAP)
• Jenkins and Cucumber
• Azure DevOps tooling (previously TFS)
• knowledge of AD (Active Directory) and ADFS is a pre
• Knowledge on workflow solutions (pre);

• up to € 5.300 gross per month (scale 8 or 9, based upon experience)
