Plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience (consultants, design institutes, engineering/architect offices, authorities etc.) in order to create the market demand and need for the features/products. Build long term customer relationships and identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools.

Your responsibilities

  • Targets: Responsible for achieving key targets for ABB products by promoting to target end users, EPCs, and consulting engineering firms.
  • Sales: Liaise with consultants, system integrators, maintenance advocates, technical sales and other project stakeholders. Responsible for getting the stakeholders to include ABB products into their specifications.
  • Strategy: Represent ABB products and solutions in technical, architectural and business-related discussions in customer meetings, conferences, and industry seminars.
  • Customer knowledge: Maintains and shares knowledge of the customer’s applications.
  • Customer Relations: Manages and develops appropriate relationships with customers and key accounts. Supports customers in adopting the new products and facilitates problem resolution.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5-8 years of field sales/technical experience with electrical products.
  • Experience with end users in the Food and Beverage segment.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical interconnection systems and applications.
  • Experience working with relevant Codes and Standards, Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal/written and presentation skills to all levels in an organization.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving, selling and negotiation skills.
  • English Advanced-Intermediate level.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Broad business acumen, ability to plan and execute on plans.
