Warehouse Assistent

As a warehouse employee you will work in our warehouse in Ridderkerk. The job holder is responsible for but not limited to:

• Product receiving inspection;
• Stock unloading;
• Stock receiving, allocations and records provision;
• Product re-packing;
• Product charging and discharging;
• Preparation of sub-assemblies;
• Orders picking
• Order inspection
• Sealing pallets for outgoing material
• Loading;
• Stock counting.

You will be working for a company that distributes and manufacturers types of batteries across the world. All batteries will be packed, tested and prepared here for further distribution. You'll have different tasks, such as stocking the warehouse, packing orders, order picking and unpacking incoming goods. We are working form Monday till Friday from 08.00 17.00.

We offer you:

• Salary of € 13,25 gross per hour;
• You are entitled to € 0.21 per kilometer in travel allowance;
• Working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm;
• A fulltime job with a temporary contract but a chance to earn a permanent contract with the company;
• In addition, we offer a nice working environment with a pleasant team of 10 colleagues in the warehouse. In an organization of 25 colleagues;

For the position as Warehouse Assistent we expect the following:

• You are available fulltime (40 hours a week);
• You are in possession of a valid forklift truck certificate;
• You have experience as a forklift driver;
• You have a good command of the English language;
• You can handle physically demanding work;
• You live in the proximity of Ridderkerk (maximum 45 minutes travel time).

Our client is a growing global manufacturer that provides and distributes products in over 100 countries. Thanks to the consistent quality of their products they have been growing strongly in the last years. The products are utilized in communication and security systems, electric vehicles and other applications. They are located in Ridderkerk and easibly accessible from Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Barendrecht.
