AdresOur client, an international company with a long history in the farming industry, is looking for Business Controller to support the business with operational and strategic decision-making. This role will be responsible for preparing and analysing management accounting information, providing reports and interpreting results to identify trends proactively. It also involves close collaboration with stakeholders both in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Some of the main responsibilities are:
- Act as a sparring partner for the BU Management Teams and a linking pin between Business Unit and Global Finance department
- Calculate scenarios, business cases and working capital impact for each decision
- Perform controls on the (local) sales and financial recognition of commercial transactions
- Take ownership of the planning and control cycle for the Business Units
- Create PowerBI dashboards and discuss with the country, sales and regional leads
- Collaborate within BC team (6+ people) to define and improve best practices
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics
- 3 years of experience as Financial or Business Controller
- Experience with tools, techniques, systems and processes within control
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Professional fluency in English and one Eastern European language
- Willing to work from the office in Utrecht and travel as required (at least 1x/month to Central Eastern Europe
