The Manufacturing Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for the implementation of a new production line and play an important role in identifying improvements in our current production setup. You will be responsible for purchasing, installation and validation of machines and together with the team, you will work hands-on to ensure that the machines are ready for production. Equipment suppliers as well as production sites, QA and R&D stakeholders are your close stakeholders.
This position is part of the Tests & Manufacturing Processes department located in Brønshøj, Denmark and will be a hybrid function. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses. You will work in a GMP controlled environment and play a significant role in ensuring improved capacity, cost, quality, and process flow in our production lines.
You will be part of the Projects, NPI and & Manufacturing Technology organization and report to the manager of Tests & Manufacturing Processes. You will be part of a team of dedicated engineers and interact with equipment suppliers, and both operators and managers in our Sensor production. In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Lead the FAT, SAT, and installation of new equipment for a production line.
Validate and optimize new equipment to ensure seamless integration into our GMP controlled environment.
Drive continuous improvement, identifying new technologies for production process flow and data collection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence capacity, cost, quality, and process flow improvements.
Report to stakeholders within NPI, R&D, and production.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar.
5+ years of experience in machine purchasing, validation, and/or implementation.
Fluency in English
Autonomous, organized, reliable, and results-oriented mindset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
The medical device industry or similar
