Operational Procurement Specialist

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Operational Procurement Specialist to join our IEC Low Voltage Motors Division’s Strategic Supply Unit in Aleksandrów Łódzki. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the procurement function to support the Strategic Supply Unit.

Your responsibilities

• Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products
• Designs and implements plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets
• Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
• Resolves issues related to procurement cost, quality, and delivery in their assigned area
• Tracks internal and supplier performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), quality issues, and implements related development actions

Your background

• Higher education (preferred technical or economic)
• Experience in working in a similar position in a manufacturing/sourcing company
• Openness to customer needs, communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and excellent organization of own work
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of the ERP system for handling material orders (knowledge of the SAP is a plus)
