AdresOur client is a growing international company in the homecare appliances industry. For their Product Marketing team we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the international product management process for the assigned product category in Europe & Middle East, and will also lead the Product Innovation for the entire product portfolio across Asia. Your primary focus will be on defining local market needs, providing international specification requirements, and drive Product Innovation. You will be responsible for building a brand new product category from scratch and introducing it to the market. Collaboration with global Product Marketing teams, market research analysis, and driving product localization will be crucial to your success.
Key responsibilities:
- Define product requirements for launches in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
- Utilize market research, consumer intelligence, and industry knowledge for Product Innovation.
- Drive the 3-year international product roadmap for assigned categories, in alignment with the global marketing team and program management.
- Build and maintain a database of international market and consumer intelligence data, leveraging various sources.
- Collaborate with global Product Marketing teams to understand roadmap development and ensure international requirements are incorporated.
- Facilitate the localization of global products according to local market and regulatory needs, working with Product Marketing, regional teams, distribution partners, and project management.
- Provide regular updates to regional teams regarding product launch specifics and planning, enabling accurate sales forecasting.
- Support regional teams in marketing planning for each hero launch, defining propositions, price positioning, distribution strategies, and activation plans.
- Develop ideas in collaboration with regional teams to drive growth in existing product/market combinations.
- Drive marketing and commercial innovation to bring new products and news to the market, fostering profitable growth.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, particularly in pre-/post-launch analysis and ratings & reviews.
- Collaborate with Consumer Market Intelligence to develop a learning plan and bridge knowledge gaps.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in business, communications, or economics.
- 10-12 years of experience in International Product Marketing Management or Consumer Marketing Management, preferably in appliances, homecare appliances, or electornics manufacturing.
- Experience in a global business environment is essential.
- Proven track record in Product Marketing and Product Innovation.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must, fluency in an Asian language is an advantage.
- Proficient in PC skills and MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP programs is advantageous.
- Affinity with analysing data and translating it into actions for the Product Marketing team.
