About our Team
The CR&R team is responsible to manage the global Accounts Receivable ledger of $3.8 billion annually, collected from most countries in the world and the teams has locations in Amsterdam, Singapore, Philadelphia, Manila and Delhi.
About the Role
The Regional Manager CR&R for the EMEALA region reports to the Global Head of Credit and is part of the Finance Organisation. You will manage a team of direct and indirect reports assigned to the EMEALA portfolio (based in Amsterdam , Delhi and Manila) and focus on the key credit targets. This is a high-profile role in the Credit organisation with exposure to senior Finance/Business leaders and third-party customers.
Responsibilities
Actively working on the Learning and Development of staff who are involved in the key CR&R activities: Credit (Re-) Assessment, Perform Credit Control, Monitor Receivables and Manage Bad Debt;
Promote, drive and reward operational excellence within the team;
Managing Credit Risk efficiently and effectively according to the Credit Policy.
Conducting Credit visits to customers as required, having the ability to negotiate effectively, and maintaining a solid relationship;
Delivering the Cash Targets for the subsequent quarters by providing accurate forecasting;
Actively support and collaborate with the Sales organization on all credit related matters;
Monitor the key targets and ensure that all businesses are supported with professional, timely and consistent Credit services through credit SLA’s;
Oversee the recovery of doubtful debt (i.e. outstanding balances with 3rd parties).
Requirements
5 to 10 years credit management experience;
Proven track record of managing a team of direct and indirect reports virtually across the region;
Ability to work under tight time pressure whilst still maintaining high standards of work;
Experience working cross functionally within the business and possess strong commercial acumen to place credit management into an overall commercial context;
Have credibility and be able to negotiate with customers at the highest level within their organisation;
Ability to review and analyse large volumes of financial sales data to support business led decision making;
Knowledge of the local financial and legal aspects of trade credit.
