Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Master Data is recruiting for a Senior Master Data Specialist role located in our Large Molecule API Manufacturing Sites in Cork, Leiden or Malvern.
This role is accountable for the timely, efficient and accurate coordination, creation and maintenance of Master Data elements (e.g. Material Master, BOMs, Production Versions, etc.) and the execution of impact analyses or feasibility studies of change requests or New Product Introduction so that material planning, finance or other processes can proceed optimally. Another important element is the accountability for sharing and embracing best-practices, exploring options for intelligent automation and driving towards harmonized processes.
In this role you will work closely with other departments (e.g. Planning (MPS, DSS, MRP), Operations, Tech Ops, Process Engineers, Bio-TD, Finance, Warehousing, Quality Assurance). There will also be contacts & exchanges with different internal manufacturing sites within JSC.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages and processes Master Data elements in SAP/ECC and OMP :
critically checks supplied data against (technical) specifications and instructions and performs Master Data creations / changes right first time in accordance with the applicable procedures and input supplied using the E2E Master Data workflow-tool
Becomes (or already can be) the point of contact for troubleshooting and root cause analysis on Master Data related challenges.
is key user for a certain system and performs user acceptance tests, supports and concretizes global initiatives concerning Master Data.
Performs various ad hoc tasks regarding Master Data Management:
guides new Data Specialists & provides hands-on training, prepares or adjusts work instructions for one site or cross-site.
participates in or initiates actions to improve Master Data processes taking cGMP and lean principles into account,
follows cGMP and Safety regulations and actively supports site-related initiatives regarding e.g. safety, health, environment, Credo, D&I, Faster Forward, Cost Saving
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent through experience is required. APICS and Green Belt certification is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Strong experience and detailed knowledge with data processing systems (e.g. SAP required, OMP and SAP MDG preferred)
experience within the health care or FMCG industry
capability to understand, translate and complete Master Data setup first time right, assigning the right priority (first support for the most urgent processes)
Proficient English
Other:
experience in transitioning to SAP S/4 Hana
experience with automating processes, building Dashboards
Collaborates effectively, strong interpersonal skills, ability to train people
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
