Senior Project Manager, IPCM (Remote)
Full time, Remote, United States/Europe
The Senior Project Manager, IPCM is accountable for delivering different types of projects or programs involving customer implementations and changes as well as agency projects, internal product implementations, and core business process changes. The primary role of the Senior Project Manager, IPCM is to deliver projects or programs with a medium to high complexity, which is measured by the scale and scope of the request.
As a Senior Project Manager, IPCM, you will
Plan projects according to the defined scope and confirm all necessary resources are assigned
Facilitate effective and constant communication with all project participants
Keep the project sponsor(s) and stakeholders informed about the status of the project
Be in charge of local, regional, and global project coordination with a broad scope of multi-national countries; Projects may include coordination of multiple countries at the same time
Be responsible for the utilization of established and proven project management methodology, tools, and processes
Manage any risks and provide visibility to stakeholders and requesters throughout the lifecycle of a project
About you
Proven success in leading medium-complexity projects in travel management operations
Extensive experience in the travel industry
Prior exposure to a qualified project management role
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work under the stress of meeting deadlines, to work independently in the absence of supervision, and to facilitate and resolve risks, issues, and showstoppers
Project Management certification preferred (Prince2, PM, or equivalent)
Previous exposure to Project Management software and GDS
