The Team
PVH DTC is responsible for circa 50% of the European total business. It’s a fast paced, energetic and open environment, where everyone has a voice and is highly encouraged to contribute. Our teams operate autonomously, but with one consistent thread that runs through our retail business: ‘Retail Working as One’. We are one team, made up of six key departments: Buying, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Retail Digital Enablers, Retail Operations and our Store Teams on the ground, driving our business. Our focus is always stores first. We put our teams on the ground, serving our consumers, at the forefront of everything we do.
The In-store Sales team (part of the Retail Digital Enablers department) is the product team that is focused around the in-store check-out process to enable a seamless check-out for our customers and store associates.
The Position
The Product Specialist In-Store sales team supports and collaborates with the Product Owner and the product team on not only existing propositions, but also new features and new propositions. The Product Specialist will be contributing to the overall strategy and roadmap for the In-Store sales team.
The focus of the position is to work closely with product leadership and their stakeholders on key initiatives under the In-Store sales team which is centered around the in-store check-out process (point of sale).
The In-store team is responsible for improving the POS system by continuously driving innovation by building features and solving key customer pain points. Next to that the team is responsible for keeping the POS system compliant with local legislation in our countries in Europe. This team is also responsible for collaborating with other product owners in the Digital Enablers domain and supporting them to refine their features and propositions that could potentially affect the POS system. The Product Specialist reports to the Senior Product Manager of the In-Store sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the product team to improve the product, including defining, scoping, planning, design, development, rollout, and support of the ISS solution in our stores
Support in agile ceremonies (demo, planning, grooming, retro, etc.) together with the Product Owner and Scrum Master
Collaborate with the product team to identify the biggest opportunities for growth, identify key metrics of success and help in the prioritization of our product roadmap
Build E2E knowledge of the ISS business processes and POS features (such as fiscalization)
Collaborate with product owner and product team to prepare the product backlog (write user stories, lead refinement sessions)
Ability to conduct workshops involving stakeholders from various departments (finance, security, expansion, and operations, etc..) and bringing them to an agreement on the way of working
Determine how to improve existing processes within the team
Collaborate closely with the vendor to facilitate the development of new features
Collaborate closely with the Retail Operations and Expansion team (support, operational processes and deployment)
The Ideal Candidate
University degree
3 to 6 years work experience in management consulting and/or as Business Analyst
Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, concepts, and artifacts such as a product backlog, user stories, and epics.
Flexibility and a personal drive to “getting things done”
A team player and continuous improvement mindset
Working from home following company policies and may shift (currently 50% at office)
Experience in creating processes and implementing them to bring transparency and predictability
Fluency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
Ability to work in multi-cultural & multi-lingual environment
An innovative and customer-driven mindset
Experience in a retail environment, ideally POS experience
