The Team
Merchandising Operations is responsible for sample inbound and the style master data availability across systems. The team is part of a bigger Buying, Planning and Operations team that operates in a fast-moving environment.
This team collaborates closely with the merchandising teams, product development, central supply teams, sample warehouse and process development teams.
The Position
As a Senior Specialist Product Data you will be part of the Merchandising Operations team. You will be responsible for an on-time Product Data set-up for asset creation and sell-in, analyzing and optimizing tools, systems and processes of all Product Data activities, and to train, guide and support the Coordinators to increase personal efficiency.
Your key responsibilities are:
Owning the full end-to-end operational process to ensure a timely availability of Product Data by continuously overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Coordinators, managing deadlines, monitoring performance, guarding process adherence and aligning with stakeholders.
Set-up, tracking and maintenance of KPI reporting to gather and analyze data and create visibility of current performance and to identify and solve problems that may arise.
Working closely with Coordinators to identify opportunities to improve efficiency of internal cross-functional activities, systems and tools.
Together with the Senior Manager identify & drive improvement opportunities and contribute as subject-matter expert in any business wide projects.
Acting as a resource for the Senior Manager and providing input on team matters, to increase team efficiency, support well-being and ensure most efficient team set up is guaranteed.
The Ideal Candidate
University/Engineering degree with a minimum of 3-4 years of related work experience or a post-secondary degree with minimum of 5-8 years of related work experience.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Data driven and analytical mindset with strong attention to details.
Proficient knowledge of MS Excel (V-look up, index matching, pivot table. VBA is advantageous).
Working experience with Centric PLM and SAP FMS or comparable systems and tools are a plus.
Able to work in a dynamic environment with deadlines whilst overseeing tasks of a team.
Can work within established procedures and practices and anticipates patterns and links beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications.
Proficient in English, both written and verbally.
