Brand Manager KitKat Benelux, this is your challenge

Want to join one of Nestlé’s most dynamic and tastiest categories? This is your opportunity, as we are looking for a new Brand Manager KITKAT to join our Confectionery team in the Benelux.

If so, being Brand Manager for KitKat Benelux might be the perfect role for you!

In this role you will be pivotal in shaping and delivering our KITKAT brand strategy in the Benelux and align this strategy with the international KITKAT brand strategy. You brief these strategic brand plans into our media and activation agencies and are in the lead of its end-to-end execution. You will use data and insights to monitor and evaluate brand performance to help guide key product and branding decisions.

Besides this, you are managing the KITKAT product portfolio. You will work closely with Category Management and Sales to drive execution of the omni-channel brand strategy and are in charge of bringing our innovation pipeline to market. This involves identifying opportunities for innovation & renovation to support our business roadmap (delivering growth, profitability & market share in a sustainable way).

As Benelux market we’re part of a regional cluster together with other countries like France and the Nordics. Together with the markets within our cluster we share learnings and look for synergies in our brand plans. This collaboration gives you the opportunity to lead regional cluster projects in the future.

As Brand Manager KitKat Belenux you have the following responsibilities

  • Someone with a strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies in the FMCG industry;

  • The ability to develop and execute brand strategies, manage brand positioning, and ensure brand consistency is key;

  • With KITKAT we’re on a journey to become more sustainable and stimulate more ‘Breaks for Good’. Someone with an interest in sustainability is highly appreciated;

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships amongst people and functions, along with connecting these;

  • Result focus & driven, combines analytical skills with a hands on and pragmatic mindset;

  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized;

  • A strong open-minded personality with a positive team-spirit;

  • Natural entrepreneurial spirit and solution driven;

  • And last but not least: some passion and love for chocolate.

What we are looking for in our Brand Manager KitKat Benelux

  • Bachelors’ degree;

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience (preferably FMCG) within Marketing or Category Management;

  • Likes to work in divers teams and with different cultures;

  • Experience in brand building and marketing communication with a passion for consumer trends;

  • Strong analytical skills and insight; knowledge of data systems such as IRI, Nielsen and GFK is preferred;

  • Full proficiency of Dutch and English are mandatory (French would be nice);

  • Open to travel regularly (biweekly) between NL (Amstelveen) and BE (Brussels) office (role can be based in NL or BE office).
