The Job's Mission:

Stryker's Trauma division offers market-leading solutions for the treatment of long and small bone fractures. As Brand Manager Trauma , you are the European brand expert who sets strategic direction and ensures execution for portfolio growth through the development of marketing campaigns and strategies, portfolio development, internal and external education strategies, European customer engagement initiatives, etc.

With your expertise and creative thinking, you will drive our Brand Marketing offense in the orthopedics segment while also playing a key role in developing innovative solutions to better serve our customers.

What you will do:

  • In alignment with global strategy, you will take the ownership of shaping the strategy for our Trauma product portfolio in Europe to achieve required growth, profit and market share targets.

  • You will play a key role in the creation of progressive, value-led messaging for the Trauma portfolio - in relation to both your assigned implant portfolio as well as in having a strong focus on developing further innovative solutions to better support our customers.

  • You will work closely with local Marketing teams in leading downstream execution to drive market share gain, while also contributing to upstream marketing initiatives to ensure development projects address European customer needs appropriately.

  • You will create/distribute scalable assets, tools, marketing campaigns and best practices.

  • In collaboration with the Education Manager, identify education, brand experience and customer engagement opportunities for both internal and external audiences.

  • You will develop trust and strong relationships with the European Trauma & Extremities (T&E) Leadership Team, Local Marketers, Sales Teams, internal stakeholders, and key customers (KOLs).

Key Activities:

  • In collaboration with the broader European Central and Local Marketing teams, drive the creation of the Annual Marketing Plan (AMP) and portfolio roadmap.

  • You will partner with the local Trauma Leadership and Marketing teams to drive forecast accuracy and an appropriate demand plan, forging strong connections to Demand and Supply Planning in the process.

  • Define and execute regional product life cycle, including launch and phase-out (e.g., PLCM) of products.

  • Provide analysis of Trauma business performance, marketing activity impact, and other drivers of future portfolio performance.

  • Manage branding, messaging, positioning, and pricing of assigned brands based on market, customer, and competitive insights.

  • Collaborate with other divisions of Stryker in order to drive growth and deliver enhanced customer value.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Science, Economics or relevant field (Master's or MBA highly desirable).

  • 8+ years of marketing experience of which a significant portion is within the MedTech industry.

  • Proven track record in leading successful marketing projects (incl. marketing plans, product launches and campaigns).

  • Strong track record as leader of cross-functional projects, ability to build and maintain cross-functional as well as cross-geographical relationships.

  • Strategic thinking with hands-on mentality, develops and champions new ideas, challenges the status quo.

  • Proven track record of analysis of key customer and competition trends.

  • Proven commercialization of products to drive growth.

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

  • Fluency in English is required, an additional European language would be a plus.
